How to Tell When It's Time for a Visit to the Chiropractor

Published March 9th, 2016 by Dr. Hoder

You probably think I am going to say something along the lines of "it's always a good time to go see a chiropractor." While I think that's true there are a lot of signs your body gives you when it's time to seek out the help of a chiropractor. Here's what to look for:

1. You take pain medication regularly

If you have to take Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, etc. just to get through the day, it's time to visit a chiropractor. The pills are just masking the pain and not getting to the cause behind it. Chiropractic will help.

2. Your shoes are worn and uneven

Which shoes do you wear the most often? Look at the soles. Are they worn evenly? If not it's time to visit a chiropractor and to ask them about Foot Levelers!

3. You get into a car accident

Whiplash can cause serious damage over time. You might not experience any symptoms other than soreness, but a visit to a chiropractor will make sure it doesn't turn into something worse.

4. You want to be proactive

Most people only think they need to visit a doctor when they are sick, but consider chiropractic as preventative care to keep you out of other doctor's offices.

If you have experienced any of these symptoms or have any back or neck pain, give us a call to schedule an appointment. We're here to help relieve your pain without the use of drugs or surgery.
