Do you feel sore or stiff when you wake up? This can be your body's way of telling you there might be some issues. Here are some questions to consider:
What position are you sleeping in?
If you're sleeping on your stomach, switch positions! It’s a hard habit to break especially because it will affect your sleeping patterns for a little bit. But long term, your spine will thank you.
Is it time for a new mattress?
If your mattress is over 10 years old (even if it's a Tempurpedic!) it's time for a new mattress. Some of the fancier mattresses guarantee that they'll last up to 20 years, but that is not always the case. If you're unsure whether it's time for a mattress change, I'm happy to help!
Is there a bigger issue?
A new mattress and changing your sleeping position will help, but if there's a bigger issue at hand this could be your body's way of letting you know that it's time to go see a chiropractor to get to the bottom of what's going on.
